Kidwelly castle Carmarthenshire, just over an hour from Winllan, with Pembrey sands and country park close by, this is a brilliant day out.

Sculpture Heavens. This was a great little find on a tour round, very interesting work shop and nice tea and cakes.

Rheidol valley, good spot for a picnic and walk the dogs.
Pembrey Country park, Superb 7 mile beach, loads of parking and picnic areas plus a dry ski slope and toboggan run.

The Da mhile distillery, we really enjoyed the tour, and the tasting, we visited here on an arts and crafty sort of day out. Great.
